Lidia Sanduleac is a physician, clinical psychologist, and university lecturer at the Department of Psychology and Social Assistance of the University of European Studies of Moldova (USEM), where she successfully combines clinical practice with teaching and academic research. Her professional training includes studies in General Medicine at "Grigore T. Popa" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași, Romania, followed by a residency in Psychiatry at "Nicolae Testemițanu" State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova. She completed her training with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at USEM, as well as training in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy and Integrative Psychotherapy, and also benefited from an Erasmus+ scholarship at Bezmialem Vakif University of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey. Dr. Sanduleac's professional activity focuses on mental health, and she is recognized for her expertise in complex areas such as psychopathology induced by drug treatments, substance abuse among adolescents, and the impact of trauma on mental health. She has contributed valuable work to prestigious international conferences and participated in numerous training programs, including the OpenWorld Program dedicated to the mental health system in the United States, remaining constantly involved in the latest scientific literature in psychiatry and clinical psychology. Her academic works address sensitive topics such as burnout syndrome among young psychiatrists, sexual trauma, and post-natal psychiatric disorders.
