About
Olga Zourbina was born in the Republic of Moldova and underwent intensive training in dance and choreography. From 1987 to 1995, she studied at the Federal Choreography High School, a prestigious institution that laid the foundation for a solid ballet education. Between 1993 and 1997, she was an integral part of the National Theatre of the Republic of Moldova, participating in all of the institution's performances, and from 1995 she obtained the status of a permanent member of the company, thus consolidating a remarkable presence on the Moldovan theatrical scene. The dancer continued her artistic development and perfected her skills through further studies at the National Dance School of Athens, a prestigious institution she attended between 1998 and 2001. This period marked an important transition in her career, representing a change in artistic and geographical context that foreshadowed the next stage of her professional journey. From 2004 to the present, Olga Zourbina has been a member of the Ballet of the Greek National Opera, actively participating in numerous renowned ballet productions. Through her work at nationalopera.gr, located at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens, she contributes to the promotion of ballet art on the international stage, representing a bridge between Moldovan choreographic traditions and the contemporaneity of the Greek scene.
