About

Vita Muliukina is a remarkable Russian ballerina, a graduate of the Ufa Choreography College, named after the famous Rudolf Nureyev. Her career began in 2011 as a principal soloist at the Rostov Musical Theatre, where she performed leading roles in productions such as "Snow White," "Romeo and Juliet," "Don Quixote," and "Little Red Riding Hood." Between 2018 and 2019, she was the prima ballerina at the Krasnodar Ballet Theatre, led by Yuri Grigorovich, and her achievements include numerous international awards: laureate of the "Maria" competition at GITIS (1st place, 2016), diploma winner at the Yuri Grigorovich competition (2017), 3rd prize at the national ballet competition (2018), and the Grand Prix at "Golden Time" in London (2019) for the performance "The Blind." Passionate about choreography, Vita graduated in 2017 from the Pedagogical Faculty of the Vaganova Russian Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg, specializing in "Ballet Master's Art," under the guidance of Professor Edvald Smirnov. In 2019, she obtained her master's degree in "Choreographic Art." She has collaborated with prestigious institutions such as the Vaganova Academy and the theaters in Rostov and Krasnodar, participating in innovative artistic events like the "Ballet for All" evenings organized by Ivan Kuznetsov. Her talents in classical and contemporary dance, highlighted in competitions such as the "Olympic Dance" in Berlin (2004), have established her as one of the emerging stars of Russian ballet. From a musical family – her mother an accordionist, her father a violinist – Vita began dancing at the age of 5 in Tolyatti, developing her career through hard work and adaptability. Her daily routine includes barre classes, intense rehearsals, and study, alternating with moments of relaxation with her cat, who helps her combat professional stress. She dreams of staging "Olesya" after Kuprin and performances set to Michael Jackson's music, exploring profound themes through original choreography, thus demonstrating her creative vision in the world of contemporary ballet.
