About
Dr. Olga A. Katz is a remarkable physician with a career spanning over four decades in the field of neuropsychiatry. Born in Moldova and a graduate of the Chișinău Institute of Medicine in 1984, she furthered her training with doctoral studies in Neuro-Endocrinology and Neurophysiology, completed in 1993. Her scientific career has been marked by numerous publications and chapters in professional monographs dedicated to the neurology of sexual disorders, as well as medical expertise and independent evaluation in a legal context. Her specialization in diagnosing and treating rare neurological conditions, including cases extremely rarely encountered worldwide, has established her as a recognized expert in the field. After completing her residency training at the renowned Neurology program at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia (1999-2003), under the guidance of eminent figures such as Prof. Eliott Mancall and Prof. Stephen Silberstein, Dr. Katz became a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Neurology. In 2004, she obtained certification as a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and was admitted as a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. Recognizing the importance of accessible healthcare, in 2009 she established her independent practice at 822 Pine Street in Philadelphia, where she continues to diagnose and treat patients with various neurological conditions, including migraines, multiple sclerosis, and neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Katz's dedication to medicine has extended beyond traditional clinical boundaries. She was named Physician of the Year in 2005 by Richmond University Medical Center and received the 2008 Kindness and Generosity Award from the international charitable organization STS for her humanitarian work and pro-bono medical care provided to patients in developing countries. Today, her practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey continues to offer high-quality medical services, combining clinical expertise with an empathetic and patient-centered approach.
