Alina Stremous is a biathlete of Russian origin who represents the Republic of Moldova in high-level international competitions. Born on July 11, 1995, in Kotelnikovo, Volgograd region, Russia, she began her biathlon career in the Russian Federation, initially competing in Saint Petersburg. With few chances of making it to the Russian national team, in February 2020 she made the strategic decision to join Moldova's representation, obtaining Moldovan citizenship. This change of representation proved to be the right decision, transforming her into one of our country's top athletes. Her sporting achievements have been notable and consistent.
