She attended School No. 2 for girls in Chișinău, which she graduated from with a silver medal, and then the Chișinău State Institute of Medicine, graduating in 1957 with honors. Her career took place almost entirely in higher medical education, where she worked for over five decades, progressing through the ranks of assistant, associate professor, and university professor from 1971. From 1975 to 1994, she headed the Department of General Hygiene, and later continued to work as a university professor and consultant professor. Her research focused on agricultural occupational hygiene, pesticide toxicology, and the prevention of occupational diseases, and the results obtained had an impact both on the training of specialists and on strengthening occupational health in the country.
