Dr. Galina Scerbacova is a pediatrician at the Department of Pediatrics of Medcare Medical Center. She obtained her bachelor's degrees in medicine and neonatology medicine from the Department of General Medicine of Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy. She qualified as a pediatrician in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. Her accreditations are impressive, having been awarded the Certificate of Merit for Meritorious Work, SUM and PhD, and a Diploma for Excellent Work, SUM and PhD, from Nicolae Testemițanu, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. She is the winner of the "Pediatric Clinics of the Year" award for Mother, Baby, and Child, and the winner of the "Best Pediatrician of the Year" award from Family & Kids magazine, and recognized as the Best Family Specialist at the "Best Mothers" Awards in Dubai. Dr. Scerbacova is a member of the Prenatal Medicine Association of Romania and the Pediatrics Association of Russia, both in the Republic of Moldova. She is also a member of the Pediatric Club of Dubai. In her early days as a pediatrician, she practiced as a neonatal consultant physician through the AVIASAN Service, which provides emergency consultative care by specialists for the transport of newborns and neonates in the Level III Prenatal Center in the Republic of Moldova. She worked as a pediatrician-neonatologist and clinical lecturer within the Department of Pediatrics of the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova. In parallel, she was a neonatal consultant physician and a specialist neonatologist in the neonatal intensive care unit of the Level III Prenatal Center, the Central Scientific Research Institute of Mother and Child in Chisinau. She also worked as a pediatrician at the "Pampedia" Lyceum in Chisinau, before moving to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Dr. Scerbacova worked for a period as a pediatrician, first at Kind Care Medical Center, then at Al Manara and GMC Clinics in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In addition to her professional responsibilities, she worked as a neonatologist consultant physician on the International Platform - i Path and was a national expert at the Confidential Audit of Perinatal Deaths in the Republic of Moldova. With extensive practical knowledge in treating diseases of newborns, infants, and children, Dr. Scerbacova has successfully managed conditions such as anemia, infectious diseases, lower respiratory tract infections, gastroenteritis, influenza, febrile seizures, eczema, asthma, COVID-19, urinary tract infections, constipation, and diarrhea. She is competent in working with premature babies and infants born with serious illnesses or those who contract illnesses at birth, low birth weight, or congenital malformations. She is an expert in adolescent health, the crying baby and child syndrome, infant and toddler nutrition, and neonatal jaundice. She performs ultrasound examinations of the abdomen, hip, brain, and thyroid with Doppler. Her organizational and communication skills are excellent, and she demonstrates great patience, compassion, and sensitivity towards her patients. In her free time, Dr. Scerbacova relaxes by cooking and swimming. She enjoys art and traveling. She speaks English, Romanian, Ukrainian, and Russian.
