Iulia Leorda is a freestyle wrestler from the Republic of Moldova, born on July 18, 1994, who has distinguished herself through remarkable performances on the international stage. Her most significant career achievement was winning the silver medal at the 2021 World Wrestling Championships, held in Oslo, Norway, in the 53 kg category, after being defeated in the final by Japan's Akari Fujinami. Throughout the world competition, Leorda managed to defeat her opponents from Kazakhstan, Canada, and Ukraine, demonstrating consistent progress.
