Iulia Nazarova is a taekwondo athlete from the Republic of Moldova, born on December 1, 2005, who stands out for her remarkable results in European and world competitions. A black belt holder, IV DAN, and holding the title of Master of Sport, Nazarova competes in the 62-kilogram category and has established herself as one of the most promising talents in the Olympic discipline WT. With a winning percentage of 72% from the 61 fights contested, she consistently demonstrates high competitive value on the international stage. Representing Specialized Sports School No. 6 and the SSSNR6-Petru Movila club, she is coached by Maxim Lebedev and Dmitri Tarcencov, two specialists with extensive experience in training elite athletes. Under their guidance, Iulia Nazarova won the bronze medal at the European WT Taekwondo Championship Under-21 category in September 2022 in Tirana, and in 2023 she again won bronze at the Multi European Games in Sarajevo in the Senior category. She participated in the World Taekwondo Championship and numerous prestigious international tournaments, consolidating Moldova's position on the map of European combat sports. Iulia Nazarova was trained athletically at the "Dimitrie Cantemir" Theoretical High School and has already achieved a series of victories in national competitions, being the champion of the Republic of Moldova and the municipality of Chisinau in her category. Her athletic trajectory, which started in the cadets category and progressively developed towards the senior level, reflects the extraordinary dedication and discipline required to excel in taekwondo on a continental and global scale.
