Maria Ignat, born in 2001 in the village of Stolniceni, Hîncești district, Republic of Moldova, has distinguished herself as a model and lawyer with dual German-Moldovan citizenship. Having lived in Germany for over a decade, where she resides between Berlin and Frankfurt, she completed six years of legal studies and has been working in the German legal system for one year. Her fashion career began in parallel with her university studies, culminating in titles such as Miss Germany 2023, Miss Supranational Germany, and Miss Charm Germany 2024, representing her adopted country in international competitions in Poland and other locations, where she achieved the best rankings in Germany's history. In October 2025, Maria Ignat won the Miss Universe Moldova competition in Chișinău, surpassing 25 finalists with her elegance, intelligence, and charisma, thus becoming the representative of the Republic of Moldova at the 74th edition of Miss Universe, held on November 21, 2025, at Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Thailand, alongside 119 other contestants. Although she did not secure a winning spot, her participation served as a platform to promote Moldovan values, highlighting her pride in her origins and the perseverance of the Bessarabian people. A polyglot, she speaks English, French, German, Romanian, and Russian, successfully combining modeling with law. Engaged in charitable actions, Maria volunteers at children's homes and animal shelters, motivating women to follow their dreams and contribute to the community's well-being. The young woman's personal life is marked by her move to Germany at 17 to be with her boyfriend, who lived in Berlin, while maintaining close ties with her home country through frequent visits.
