Liubovi Pascalenco is a basketball player born on October 20, 1990, in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, but who primarily pursued her sports career in the Russian Federation. Standing at 203 centimeters tall, she played the center position and distinguished herself through her performances both at the club level and in international competitions for Russia's youth national teams. Pascalenco earned the titles of Master of Sport of Russia (2010) and Master of Sport of Russia, International Class (2011), being considered one of the most talented basketball players of her generation. Between 2006 and 2012, Pascalenco played for Spartak Saint-Petersburg, a team with which she participated in domestic and European competitions. The 2010-2011 season was particularly successful for her, with the team winning silver in the Baltic Women's Basketball League. After a short period at Spartak, she transferred to Dinamo-GUVD Novosibirsk (2012-2014) and then to Spartak Noginsk (2014-2015), where she achieved notable performances in the EuroCup Women competitions. Internationally, Pascalenco represented Russia's youth teams at several European and World Championships. In 2008, she won the silver medal at the European Junior Championship, and in 2010 she was the European champion in the under-20 category, contributing significantly to the victory in the final against Spain. She also participated in the Junior World Championship (2009) and the Universiade in China (2011), demonstrating consistent value in representing Russia on the international women's basketball stage.
