About

Ecaterina's passion for dance began at the age of 12 in the Republic of Moldova. Ecaterina competed intensely and held numerous European titles, including the National Champion of Moldova. In 2010, she moved to the USA to continue her ballroom dancing career. In 2016, Ecaterina broke the national record for the most lessons taught in a week and was named Best Teacher of the Year. Together with her partner, Alexander Konovalov, she won numerous titles such as the Fred Astaire American Regional Champion in Smooth and Rhythm and National Finalist. Ecaterina has extensive experience, with over 20 years of international experience in Latin and Standard dances, and always inspires her students to exceed their goals and become the dancer they aspire to be.
