About
Moldova I was born in Moldova in 1980. After graduating from high school, I studied law at the Moldova State University. Later, I taught constitutional law as a university assistant for one year at the same university. Italy At the age of 19, I met my husband, and in 2003, we moved to Italy. In Italy, I studied educational sciences. When my son was born in 2010, I became interested in family relationships and how my upbringing might influence my parenting skills. I took a course in parental counseling and became a member of Family lab Italia – an organization that is part of the International Family lab Association, created by the Danish family psychotherapist Jesper Juul. As a member, I worked in individual, family, and group counseling. I also organized thematic workshops and participated in events to promote the work I was doing. Denmark In 2015, I moved to Denmark with my family. I started as a volunteer at Nest International, an organization that helps and supports foreign women trafficked for prostitution. After a few months, I was hired there as a social worker and worked there for approximately 3 years. In the meantime, I became increasingly interested in working with families. I began my studies as a psychotherapist and family therapist at the Danish Institute for Family Therapy in 2018. In 2019, I started working as a family counselor at Memox, an organization that offers different types of family support/counseling packages and collaborates with municipalities in the field of child protection and family counseling. In 2020, I was hired as a family counselor in the municipality of Høje Taastrup, continuing to work with and help families and children. In the last three years, I have worked with socio-economically vulnerable families with complex issues such as childhood trauma, physical and psychological abuse, substance abuse, divorce and high-conflict co-parenting, one or both parents with mental illness and multiple diagnoses, children with depression/anxiety/eating disorders/OCD, etc. Since 2023, I have become self-employed and am currently focusing on my private practice, offering individual psychotherapy (youth and adults), couples, and families. As you can see, I have traveled and lived in several countries, been inspired by and integrated into different cultures, and gone through various challenges. In this regard, I consider myself a citizen of the world and privileged to have had the opportunity to experience life in different ways. I am familiar, both professionally and personally, with the challenges of being "an outsider" yet feeling "an insider" – a situation between systems and cultures, with the need and desire to reinvent myself professionally and to grow and develop personally. How I work - my focus My focus is on creating a safe environment where you can feel your emotions and bodily sensations, become aware of your thoughts and inner voices, allow all emerging reactions to surface, and subsequently welcome new experiences with yourself. We create change together. I do not fix or provide quick solutions. I help you find your own path. I see internal states such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, OCD as symptoms and do not focus on making them disappear. Together we will analyze the causes, be curious to find out what these symptoms want to tell us, and work through them. Focusing on the symptom may offer short-term relief, but if the cause is not addressed, the symptom will reappear in the same way or as another symptom. The foundation of my work is – presence and human contact here and now, equal humility and dignity in meeting you and your family, authentic and curious dialogue, because you are your own expert and the expert in your family, you are the expert of your life – I am just a humble witness. High ethics and professionalism are very important to me. I am
