Nina Nikolaevna Masalskaya was born on January 5, 1901, in Penza, Russia, The recognition of her meritorious service in theatrical art materialized through numerous state distinctions and prestigious honors. In 1960, she received the title of People's Artist of the USSR, the supreme recognition of her talent and devotion. Nina Masalskaya remained on the theatrical stage until the late 1970s, leaving behind a rich and inspiring theatrical career. She passed away on March 24, 1989, in Chisinau and was buried in the Central Cemetery of the city, the final resting place of many prominent figures of Moldovan culture.
