About

Alina Ieremciuc, Mariana Solonari, and Mirela Irindea launched Arta Tradiției in 2018, although they had started discussing the challenge of building a traditional Romanian brand for clothing and gift products as early as last year. "We interacted with several people in management positions who told us they had nothing traditional Romanian to offer as gifts when going on official visits, something produced in Romania. That's when we decided we had to be the ones to start meeting these needs, especially since we love this field," state the founders of Arta Tradiției. They raised 40,000 euros and purchased the necessary equipment to set up the business: a high-performance t-shirt printer, a printer for solid objects, a wood engraver, a sublimation printer, heat presses, and many other small devices that help them finish the products. The young women say that when they purchased the equipment, they aimed for multiple benefits: speed of work, increased quality of the final product, and reduced production costs. "We thought about everything for the long term," state the founders of Arta Tradiției. Currently, there are 6 t-shirt collections available, as well as engraved and printed wooden products that can be personalized and offered as gifts. In addition to the 6 collections: "My Country," "I Am a Woman," "Calendar," "Godparents," "Colorful Summer," "Childhood – Sweet Melody," the young women aim to launch two more collections by September. "We are currently thinking about the concept. And we create wooden products occasionally depending on customer requests and our current inspiration. We have created lamps, stylized boxes, personalized badges, bookmarks, mug coasters," complete the founders of Arta Tradiției. Outside of the business, the young women also handle product design, finding inspiration for creating traditional Romanian products from collaborations with various local artists (especially painters) who "bring something new and add that extra value," as they say.
