About
Carolina Pascari was born in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, during a period marked by uncertainty and chaos in the post-communist era. The unstable situation in the country led her to leave at the age of 15, beginning a modeling career in the fashion capitals of the world – London, Paris, and Milan. This life experience had a profound impact on her personal development, broadening her horizons and inspiring her to explore new cultures and perspectives. Alongside her modeling career, Pascari continued her studies abroad, obtaining a degree in psychology and later a master's degree in clinical psychodiagnostics in Milan, which allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the human psyche. At the age of 24, Carolina Pascari embarked on a trajectory that combines her passion for psychology with fine art, establishing her base of operations in Italy. She initially experimented with landscapes, human body forms, and objects, studying the complex layers of painting. She developed a deep connection with acrylic paint and non-toxic solvents, considering this an important choice in her artistic practice. This approach became more than an exercise in psychological balance, transforming into an intimate exploration of disturbed thoughts and complex emotional states, expressed through abstract forms and colors. Carolina Pascari's artworks are characterized by a distinct introspective symmetry, with blue being the predominant color for expressing precise emotional states. Many of the pieces were inspired by psychological sessions with patients diagnosed with various pathologies, thus transforming clinical experience into a visual challenge. In January 2020, she inaugurated her first exhibition titled "Origins of Symmetry" in Egypt with 20 large-scale works, and in June 2022, she presented the exhibition "Digital Catharsis" in Cefalù, Sicily, exhibiting 24 paintings created using two different techniques: alcohol ink and acrylic paint. Her collaboration with the Domina Coral Bay hotel has contributed to the integration of her works into different spaces, consolidating her presence on the international art scene.
