About

Tatiana Seliverstova was born in Chisinau, Moldova, and began her dance career at the age of eight. From a very young age, she won numerous national and international championships, and as a teenager, she was crowned World Vice Champion and European Champion. At the age of 19, Tatiana moved to the United States of America to pursue her passion for ballroom dancing. Within a year of arriving in America, she became the United States National Champion in two divisions, solidifying her position as one of the most talented dancers in the world. After a two-decade career competing in Latin, Ballroom, and 10 Dance styles, Tatiana made a significant stylistic change in 2016, transitioning to professional American Smooth dancing. This decision proved to be extremely fruitful, earning her impressive titles of World Vice Champion (three times), United States Vice Champion (three times), and Bronze Medalist at the British Open Championship (three times). Her achievements have been internationally recognized through winning the Dance Oscars in 2018 and 2019 as the best professional couple, as well as numerous other victories and placements at major world competitions, including the New York Dance Festival, Crown Cup Dubai, and Millennium Dance Sport Championship. Tatiana retired from professional competitions in 2020, after placing second at the World and United States Championships. Currently, she has expanded her work beyond competitions, performing as a choreographer, dance instructor, and creative director based in Los Angeles. In 2016, her home country, Moldova, awarded her the honorary title of Master of Sport, recognizing her extraordinary contribution to international ballroom dancing.
