About

Diana Cojocar is an internationally renowned Latin American dancer, originally from the Republic of Moldova, with a career spanning over two decades in the world of competitive dance. Her passion for Latin dance began at the age of six, and she has not left the dance floor since. Throughout her career, Diana has achieved remarkable performances, including qualifications for the finals of the European Championship and the World Championship, as well as winning the German Open Championship. Her specialty encompasses all disciplines of Latin American dance: Cha-cha, Samba, Rumba, Pasodoble, and Jive. Diana's competitive activity took place at the European and world level, participating in major international competitions. She was a successful dancer at the UK Open 2020 in Bournemouth and at the Blackpool Dance Festival 2021, gracing the dance stages of Great Britain. Diana also distinguished herself through long-term collaborations with dance partners, actively participating in official competitions recognized by International Dance Unification, thus consolidating her reputation within the European dance communities. Currently, Diana Cojocar has channeled her experience and passion by founding a Latin American dance teaching program, "Her Latin By Diana," based in the UK. Through this initiative, she offers Latin American dance lessons for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers. Her mission is to convey the transformation and empowerment she has experienced through dance, helping others discover the joy and rhythm of Latin American dance, regardless of their goals – whether they seek technical improvement, physical activity, or simply the pleasure of dancing.
