Victoria Răileanu is an actress from the Republic of Moldova, born in 1988, who began her performing career at just 15 years old. Her stage debut took place at the Timișoara National Theatre, where she played roles in the plays "We Can Dance" and "Krumm". After drama high school, she graduated from UNATC Bucharest, a prestigious institution from which she emerged prepared for a successful career in the film and theater industry. During her university studies, Victoria continued to assert herself through roles in television series, demonstrating versatility and dedication to her artistic craft. Victoria's film career experienced a significant boost with her debut in the international film "The Whistleblower" in 2010, directed by Larysa Kondracki, alongside renowned actresses such as Rachel Weisz and Monica Bellucci. Subsequently, she starred in numerous notable Romanian productions, including "A Month in Thailand," "Vlad" – a series that gained widespread public acclaim – "Klaus & Barroso," "Taximetriști," and "The New Year That Wasn't." The actress distinguished herself through her ability to portray complex and diverse characters, navigating with ease between various genres, from drama to comedy, which solidified her position in the Romanian film and theater landscape. Beyond her acting activities, Victoria Răileanu is also involved in artistic content creation, participating in theater and improvisation projects with the iELE group, the only all-female improvisation troupe in Romania. Recently, she has also turned her attention to screenwriting, developing a feature film script that she has been working on for several years, demonstrating a desire to contribute to the film industry from multiple perspectives. On a personal level, the actress has built a stable family life, being married to actor Conrad Mericoffer and having a son, Carol, which completes a portrait of a woman dedicated to both art and family.
