Maria Panainte was born in 1990 in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, and has distinguished herself as a theater and film actress in Romania. She graduated from the National University of Theatre and Film Arts (UNATC) in Bucharest in 2012, in the acting department, where she received solid training in the art of the stage. Her film debut took place in the same year, with a role in the film "Va urma" (To Be Continued), followed by notable appearances in productions such as "Barza Gold" (2013), "High Strung" (2014), and "Live" (2014), which brought her recognition in the Romanian and international film industry. On the theater stage, Maria Panainte collaborates with the Comedy Theater in Bucharest, where she plays complex and varied roles. Among her memorable creations are Masha in "The Seagull" by A.P. Chekhov, Lorrene/Prism in "Handbag" by Mark Ravenhill, Anica Bolanda in "La lilieci" (At the Lilacs) by Marin Sorescu, and Maude in "M&M" by Ștefan Caraiman. She also participated in the HOP Gala, a prestigious festival organized by UNITER, where she impressed the audience and critics with her versatility and interpretive intensity, consolidating her presence in the Bucharest theater scene.
