Margareta Ivănuș was born on September 13, 1949, in the village of Seimcean, Khabarovsk Krai, Russian Federation. She graduated from the "N. F. Sokolovski" College of Music in Gomel, Belarus, in 1971, where she studied singing under the guidance of professors Nina Vroblenskaia and, later, Gheorghe Zemliakov (1978-1983)[6]. After completing her studies, she was employed as a soloist at the Gomel Philharmonic, before moving to the Republic of Moldova in 1976, marking the beginning of a remarkable career in light music and romances. Since settling in the Republic of Moldova, Margareta Ivănuș has collaborated with numerous prestigious ensembles and renowned composers. She was a soloist in the folk dance ensemble "Joc" (1976-1977), then in the "Ensemble for the Propagation of Music" (1977-1986), and in the ensembles "Orizont" and "Rapsodia" of the Chisinau Philharmonic. She collaborated with important composers such as Eugen Doga, Constantin Rusnac, and Gheorghe Mustea, performing memorable songs like "În miez de noapte când tresar" and "Se scuturau toți trandafirii". Her soprano voice and interpretive talent made her one of Moldova's most appreciated romance singers. Margareta Ivănuș's artistic achievements have been recognized with numerous distinctions and honorary titles. In 1984, she was awarded the title of Merited Artist of the Moldavian SSR, in 1992 she won the Grand Prize at the "Golden Chrysanthemum" Festival-Competition, and in 1999 she was awarded the Order of the Republic. Margareta Ivănuș remained an important figure in the cultural life of the Republic of Moldova, and her musical legacy continues to inspire generations of artists and music lovers.
