Bella Etingen is an American researcher and professor with a distinguished career in health and healthcare services. After completing her undergraduate studies in Psychology at Loyola University Chicago, she pursued postgraduate studies in the same field, earning a Master's degree in Applied Psychology and a Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology. With over ten years of experience in the healthcare system, Bella Etingen has dedicated herself to leading and executing healthcare services and implementation projects within the Veterans Health Administration system. Dr. Etingen's professional activities take place at utsouthwestern.edu, where she holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Healthcare Economics, Systems, and Policy at the Peter O'Donnell Jr. School of Public Health at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Concurrently, she serves as a Health Services Researcher within the Health Systems Research Service at the Veterans Health Administration. Her research methodology encompasses mixed methods, program evaluation, implementation science, and community and stakeholder engagement, and she is a passionate educator with experience teaching courses on applied research methods, statistics, and psychological theory.
