Svetlana Doni is a professional with a remarkable career in human resources and social development, built on a solid foundation of international education and commitment to public reforms. Originally from the Republic of Moldova, she received a prestigious Edmund S. Muskie scholarship from the U.S. Department of State to complete her master's degree at Duquesne University, where she finished her studies in Administration with a thesis dedicated to the transformation of social service systems in Allegheny County. This excellent academic training opened the door to an international career marked by responsibility and dedication. Svetlana Doni's professional experience reflects a constant passion for human capital development and institutional reforms. Between 2010 and 2016, she worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where she held positions as a human resources specialist and coordinator, contributing significantly to public reform and institutional development projects in the Republic of Moldova. For her devotion and professionalism demonstrated within UNDP, she received the United Nations Award for Professionalism and Dedication. After returning to the United States, she worked for several years as a human resources manager at the European American Association, where she supervised over 600 employees and coordinated the development of human resources policies. Currently, she holds the position of Human Resources Director at Route One Group in the Chicago area, where she implements strategic talent management and organizational development initiatives. In addition to her expertise in human resources management and operations, Svetlana Doni stands out for her fluency in three languages – English, Russian, and Romanian – and for professional certifications obtained from prestigious institutions such as the University of Minnesota and The Wharton School.
