Marina Croitor was born on October 24, 1956, in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, and showed artistic inclinations from childhood, participating in theatrical and sports activities such as table tennis and ballroom dancing. In 1978, she graduated from the acting department of the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music, and Cinematography, where she was trained by professors Igor Vladimirov and Ariadna Kuznețova. At her graduation ceremony, she caught the attention of the director of the Omsk Academic Drama Theater, Migdat Hanzharo, and the chief director Artur Haikikin, who invited her to join the theater company. From 1978 to the present, Marina Croitor has worked as an actress at the Omsk Academic Drama Theater, where she has performed over 75 roles in more than four decades of activity. In 2016, she received the title of Honored Person of Culture of the Omsk region, and in 2025, she was designated Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. Through her dedicated work and remarkable stage performances, she has significantly contributed to the cultural life of Russian theater, collaborating with high-level artists and participating in productions of classic works by authors such as Chekhov, Pushkin, Dostoevsky, and William Shakespeare. Her diverse roles have included complex characters in notable productions, demonstrating the actress's versatility and professionalism. As a member of a dedicated theatrical family and with a constant presence on the Omsk stage, Marina Croitor has become an emblematic figure of the institution, respected by both colleagues and the theater-going public. Her long experience and cultural contributions have solidified her reputation as one of the remarkable actresses of contemporary Russian theater.
