Margarita Kamysh was born in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, and began her artistic journey at the Chișinău Choreography College, from which she graduated in 2001 in the class of teacher E.N. Tsarikova. She completed an internship at the Bolshoi Theatre in Russia in 2000, and subsequently became the principal soloist of the ballet of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Moldova (2000–2004), then of the Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater (2004–2006), the Chelyabinsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (2006–2008), and, since September 2008, principal soloist of the Chuvash State Opera and Ballet Theater, where she holds the position of artistic director. Her impressive repertoire includes iconic roles such as Giselle, Kitri in "Don Quixote", Aurora in "The Nutcracker", Odette-Odile in "Swan Lake", Carmen, Svanilda in "Coppélia" and many others, performed with flawless technique and deep expressiveness. As a laureate of international ballet competitions, Margarita Kamysh has excelled through her globally recognized talent: in 2008, she obtained the Special Prize "Princess of Russian Ballet" at the International Competition "Arabesque-2008", in 2009 she won the prize of the international organization "TURKSOY", and in 2011 she received a diploma and a special press prize "for charm and beauty" at "Arabesque-2011". Her career in the Russian Federation, marked by collaborations with prestigious opera and ballet theaters, was complemented by participation in festivals such as the "Bayadere" ballet festival in Chuvashia, where she was invited as an honorary artist. Her extensive tours of Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Finland, Hungary, USA, Mexico, and Iceland have promoted the grace and mastery of Moldovan ballet on international stages. Margarita Kamysh's personal life remains private, but her passion for ballet, nurtured from an early age in the vibrant cultural environment of Chișinău, reflects a total dedication to the choreographic art. Coming from a family that supported her artistic path, she transformed the challenges of a nomadic career—from Moldova to various Russian theaters—into a steady rise, becoming a symbol of female excellence in contemporary Russian ballet. Today, as artistic director, she continues to inspire young talents, contributing to the preservation of classical traditions and innovation in the field of ballet.
