Tatyana Oleynik is a prominent figure in the field of ballet and dance in Bulgaria, with a career spanning over 25 years as a pedagogue, choreographer, and impresario. She founded and manages several renowned institutions, including the Odette School of Dance and Dancestreet, the largest dancewear store in Bulgaria, offering branded ballet shoes, dance attire, and performance costumes. She is also the managing partner of the Dance World Cup, one of the most prestigious all-genre dance competitions in the world, aimed at children and young people who wish to qualify for the annual finals hosted in various global locations. Tatyana Oleynik's professional background combines two complementary and essential fields for her career: she graduated from Moldova State University with a Bachelor's degree in Philology and Applied Modern Languages, including English and translation-interpretation, and in previous years, she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Arts with a specialization in the History and Theory of Dance Art, as well as Dance Methodology. Her pedagogical experience began in 2000 at the Ballet Schools of the Russian Lyceum in Sofia, where she taught ballet and classical repertoire classes for beginner to advanced levels. Subsequently, she worked as a guest lecturer at the National School of Dance Art, where she specialized in the Vaganova methodology of classical ballet. Tatyana Oleynik's multifaceted activity reflects her total dedication to promoting dance on the international stage. By organizing the Dance World Cup and managing ballet schools, she has created platforms through which hundreds of young talents have been able to showcase their skills on the world stage. Her impact on the dance industry in Bulgaria and the region is evident in the quality of education she provides, in the commercial infrastructure of the dance store, and last but not least, in the global recognition of the competition she leads, which has transformed the lives of numerous young dancers from different countries.
