Vanda Botnari graduated from the School of Winemaking and Viticulture in Chisinau, graduating with honors from the Winemaking Technology department in 1979. Until 2006, the winemaker worked at enterprises in the Republic of Moldova, gradually improving her qualifications and gaining experience. Vanda Ivanovna joined Kuban-Vino on August 3, 2006, as head of the champagne and aged wines production department. Two years later, she became laboratory manager, and since 2009 she has been chief winemaker. Thanks to her high professionalism, she masterfully combines traditional winemaking methods with the latest advances in the field. During her leadership, the company established the production of champagne and sparkling wines using both traditional bottle and tank methods, resumed the production of oak-aged wines, and implemented a product safety and quality management system (ISO certification).
