Inna Gliznuța, born on April 18, 1973, in Tighina (Bender), is a remarkable Moldovan athlete specializing in the high jump, with an impressive career marked by participation in four consecutive Summer Olympic Games: Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, and Beijing 2008. She won a silver medal at the 1992 World U20 Championships in Seoul, representing the Unified Team, placed 8th at the 1994 European Indoor Championships in Paris, and finished 4th at the 2001 Universiade in Beijing. She was also the national champion of Moldova in 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999. Her personal best of 1.95 meters, achieved in 1999 in Tel Aviv, remains a benchmark performance in Moldovan athletics. She began practicing the high jump under the guidance of coach Olga Stratienko, and from 1984, she was trained by honored coach Vitalie Arhilei, collaborating with the Dinamo and Olimpia clubs in the Republic of Moldova. Throughout her career, she competed in multiple world and European championships, including a 14th place finish at the 1993 World Indoor Championships in Toronto and finals at other continental competitions, contributing to the promotion of Moldovan athletics on the international stage through the national athletics federation and sports schools in the country. With a height of 186 cm and a weight of 70 kg, Inna Gliznuța has demonstrated perseverance and dedication, being active even in 2000 as a nurse at the Sports School of Olympic Reserves No. 3 in Tighina.
