Cristina Botnari, a remarkable violinist from Eastern Europe, has built an impressive career in classical music, holding two master's degrees: one in violin performance from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, under the guidance of professors Grigory Feigin and Eduard Grach, and another in arts management from American University in Washington, D.C. As a laureate of the National Competition and a diplomat of the International Chamber Music Center, she has performed with renowned orchestras such as the Great Hall Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra, and the London Symphony Orchestra, participating in tours in Germany, Spain, Austria, South Korea, and Romania, including the George Enescu International Festival. Her achievements include scholarships such as the one from the Sarasota Music Festival and awards at competitions from American University, also being a member of the American Federation of Musicians and a Grammy voting member. As co-founder, artist, and executive producer of the Royal Music Society, a non-profit organization in Alexandria, Virginia, Cristina Botnari leads initiatives that promote performing arts through concerts, cultural exchanges, educational programs such as "Classical Music Hour" and "Gifted and Talented," as well as archives of musical masterpieces. She has collaborated with prestigious institutions such as the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington Performing Arts Society, Barcelona Philharmonic Orchestra, Abbey Road Studios, and George Enescu Philharmonic, managing operations, fundraising, and productions at RMS Records and RMS TV. Under her leadership, the Royal Music Society builds musical bridges between countries, including cultural diplomacy and globally distributed recordings through partners like The Orchard and Sony Entertainment. Cristina Botnari's personal life is closely linked to her passion for music, often collaborating with her husband, maestro Yuri Botnari, on artistic projects and foundations like the RMS Foundation. Based in the Washington D.C. area, but with extensive activities in Europe, including Portugal through connections with the Barcelona orchestra and international tours, she continues to inspire through solo recordings such as "Violin of Hope," "Nostalgia," and "Symbiosis," promoting resilience and cultural connection through her art.
