Anna Wagener (born Anja Susterman on October 14, 1976, in Bălți) is a Moldovan-born chess player representing Luxembourg. Titles and distinctions: She holds the title of Woman Grandmaster (WGM), which she obtained in 1996. Early career and successes: During the period she represented the Republic of Moldova, she participated in numerous world and European championships for juniors. Her most significant success during that period was winning the title of European Junior Vice-Champion in the under-16 category in 1992, in Rimavská Sobota. National representation: She represented the Republic of Moldova at five editions of the Chess Olympiads between 1994 and 2004. Starting in 2006, she became the representative of Luxembourg. Performances: She reached her highest career rating of 2325 points on July 1, 1996. In 2009, she achieved fifth place in the Luxembourg national men's chess championship.
