Rusanda Panfili is a Moldovan violinist, composer, and arranger born in 1988 in Chisinau, who began her violin studies in Romania at the "George Enescu" music school in Bucharest. At the age of eleven, she became one of the youngest students admitted to the Vienna Conservatory of Music and Performing Arts, a prestigious institution where she completed her master's studies in 2015 under the guidance of Professor Christian Altenburger. Throughout her career, Rusanda has won numerous prestigious international awards, including the "R. Lipizer" competition in Italy, the "L. Spohr" competition in Germany, and the "Fidelio" competition in Austria, demonstrating her exceptional talent and dedication to the art of music. Rusanda's international career has seen a remarkable rise through collaborations with world-renowned composers and musicians, including Hans Zimmer, Andrea Bocelli, and Brian May. As a soloist for Hans Zimmer, she has performed over 200 concerts on the "Hans Zimmer Live" and "The World of Hans Zimmer" world tours, and recently joined Andrea Bocelli's international arena tours. She developed her highly acclaimed project, "Panfili & Friends," an ensemble created in 2016 that blends classical music with international folklore, offering original interpretations of classical and traditional pieces from Moldova, Romania, Austria, and Hungary, and in 2020, she released the debut album "Primul" for this project. With a significant digital presence boasting over 15 million YouTube views and a global fanbase of 200,000 people, Rusanda is a versatile artist exploring diverse genres and varied instruments, from classical violins to analog synthesizers. Based in Austria, she composes and produces music from her own recording studio, collaborates with Hollywood film productions, and is involved in charitable projects assisting orphaned children and needy families in Moldova, demonstrating her social commitment and devotion to her Moldovan roots.
