Ana Țurcan, originally from the Republic of Moldova, is a professional dancer internationally recognized for her contributions to the field of folk dance. A graduate of the Choreography College in Chișinău in 2005 with a degree in performing arts, she began her career at the age of 18 with an international contract at Lotte World in Seoul, South Korea. With over two decades of experience, she has performed in renowned shows such as Riverdance, where she integrated Russian/Moldovan folk dance alongside her husband, Eugeniu Țurcan, in productions like "Riverdance 30 - The New Generation" at the John F. Kennedy Center and American tours, bringing elements of Eastern European folklore into a vibrant Irish context. Beyond the stage, Ana has collaborated with various artistic groups and institutions, including as a yoga instructor, educational assistant, and holistic wellness coach, holding a degree in Educational Sciences from the State University of Moldova. Her versatility in dance, choreography, and education has allowed her to combine traditional discipline with contemporary expressiveness, participating in mixed ensembles that celebrate cultural diversity. Fluent in Romanian, Russian, and English, she promotes creative movement and personal development, adapting to global contexts.
