Thus, for the first time in the Federation's 8 years of activity, Moldova delegated a candidate referee for the European category. The one who represented Moldova was Ana Maria Stratu, being the youngest among all 189 registered referees from 45 European countries. The examination took place in both disciplines – Kata and Kumite, each following 3 stages: the theoretical written exam, the technical exam (demonstration and questions from the commission), and practice during the competition. After 3 days of emotions and hard work, the results were announced, with our representative obtaining the B Referee category in both disciplines and the highest score in Kata.
