About

Larisa Saveli, originally from the Republic of Moldova, is an American actress who has built a promising career in the United States film industry. Her passion for acting ignited in childhood, influenced by her grandfather, Saveliy, a storyteller with a boundless imagination, who shared real and fantastical worlds with her around the family homestead. Although she performed in school plays and at local theaters such as the Chisinau Theaters and Tvardita in Moldova, she did not pursue an early professional career, debuting only after moving to the USA. Among her notable achievements are her roles in the miniseries "Mocos" (2023-2024), where she portrayed characters like President Oksana Moroz, as well as the short films "We Should Do This Again Sometime" (Janice), "Grace & Chloe" (Partier), and other independent productions like "Time To Go" or "The Battle For Granite Records". After moving to New York around the age of 20, Larisa studied business administration at Baruch College (CUNY), subsequently working for almost a decade in the corporate world before pursuing her artistic dream. She initially settled in New York City for nearly 10 years, then moved to Boston, where she is currently active. She underwent intensive training at the New York Film Academy, Michelle Danner Acting Studio, and other prestigious institutions, specializing in acting for film, stage, improvisation, and stage combat. She has collaborated with independent productions such as F.R. Perro LLC, Boston University, Shining Giant Productions, and Dinner Detective Production, and has also participated in commercials and live shows. Larisa Saveli is fluent in English, Russian, Bulgarian, and Ukrainian, possesses diverse skills such as burlesque dancing, martial arts, medical nursing, and Eastern European accents, making her versatile for complex roles. With a height of 1.65 m, brown hair, and green eyes, she combines artistic talents with creative hobbies like cooking, painting, and sewing. An animal lover, she represents an example of perseverance for Moldovan women conquering the USA, promoting multiculturalism through her presence on screens and in independent theaters.
