Her artistic education began at the State University of Arts in the Republic of Moldova, where she had the opportunity to study for a year under the guidance of mentor Veniamin Apostol, a renowned actor and director. This training at the highest standards of dramatic art was the foundation for the development of her acting talent. Marcela Roibu became known to the Romanian public through the role of Leana in the comedy series "State de România," a continuation of the telenovela "Regina," broadcast on Pro TV between 2009 and 2010. In this series, she played the role of a cousin from the Republic of Moldova who comes to stay with her cousin Maricica. Her path to this role was typical for aspiring actors, going through several auditions until she was cast in the romantic comedy "Îngeraș," which significantly changed her professional trajectory. Throughout her career, Marcela Roibu has demonstrated her versatility in portraying diverse characters, moving between feature films and television productions.
