She was born into a family of musicians and was passionate about both singing and writing poetry, presenting poems and prose at her university admission. She studied at the "A. N. Ostrovski" State Institute of Theatrical Arts in Leningrad (today Saint Petersburg), graduating in 1952. She began working at the "A. Pușkin" Musical-Dramatic Theater (today the "Mihai Eminescu" Theater) in Chișinău and made her debut in 1971 in a supporting role in the film Lăutarii. She hosted the show "Teatrul la microfon" (Theater at the Microphone) on Radio Moldova. She also acted in televised theater performances as part of the "Dialog" program. Her colleagues remember her as one of the few actresses who openly declared herself Romanian during a period when this brought her problems. She passed away at the age of 83 and was buried in the Central Cemetery on Armenească Street in Chișinău. Roles: In a career spanning over 30 years, she acted in dozens of plays and films.
