About

Alina Poloboc is a contemporary artist born in 1991 in Bender, Transnistria, a region of the Republic of Moldova. After graduating with a degree in International Relations and Political Science, she worked as a television presenter in Moldova for three years. At the age of 22, she decided to move to Italy, to the city of Bolzano, where she discovered her authentic passion for painting. This move marked a turning point in her career, transforming art from her hobby into a professional calling. During her time in Spain, particularly in Palma de Mallorca where she lived for nine years, Alina's artistic career experienced remarkable development. She organized numerous exhibitions and created over 400 artworks, participating in important international fairs such as Art Santa Fe, Affordable Art, and Context-Art Miami. Her artistic style spans two distinct directions: figurative works depicting ballerinas with elegance and sensitivity, and abstract paintings dominated by shades of blue, a color that obsesses her and reflects the sky and sea of the island of Mallorca. Alina uses materials such as oil on canvas and large-format cotton paper, and each collection of paintings is a reflection of the culture and energy of the place where she lives. Currently, Alina has expanded her artistic activity beyond traditional media, exploring digital arts, 3D animation, and NFTs. She divides her life between Palma de Mallorca, where she resides, and Miami, where she spends a significant part of her time, finding inspiration in the vibrant energy of these cities. Her new series of works, such as "Gipsy" and "Fancy Queen," demonstrate the constant evolution of her style, combining feminine elegance with saturated colors and abstract forms. Being a polyglot, speaking Romanian, Russian, Italian, Spanish, English, French, and also dealing with German and Japanese, Alina Poloboc continues to explore new creative and geographical horizons, consolidating her international reputation as a contemporary artist with a distinct and bold vision.
