Ala was born and raised in Moldova, where she grew up surrounded by warm and kind-hearted people who showed her the benefits of high values and how they can influence one's happiness. She moved to the United States of America ten years ago and began her banking career two years after arriving in the country. Ala's career in banking began as a drive-up teller, but whenever she had the opportunity to learn more and ask for additional opportunities and responsibilities, she did. Although it took her a little longer to learn about policies and procedures at the beginning of her career, she found helpful and knowledgeable colleagues who were always ready to assist her and see her grow. Within five years of working as a teller, Ala became a financial center manager. Ala speaks Romanian, Russian, and English fluently. In her eight years of banking experience, she has successfully assisted numerous Russian-speaking clients with their banking inquiries and requests. The additional skills of speaking other foreign languages are always an advantage for bankers, as they build relationships with clients and help them with their financial needs.
