Tatiana Harghel is a renowned internist from the Republic of Moldova, who has dedicated her career to research and clinical practice in the field of internal medicine. A specialist with vast academic and professional experience, she has worked over the years at the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, where she has been teaching and coordinating didactic activities since September 1998. Her current status as a doctoral student demonstrates her continuous commitment to the advancement of medical knowledge and her contribution to the progress of medical science in the country. Currently, Tatiana Harghel holds the position of Head of the Therapy Department at IMSP Municipal Clinical Hospital "Sfânta Treime" in Chisinau, where she coordinates a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the care of patients with complex internal conditions. Her clinical activity focuses on the treatment of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases, and she is the author and co-author of several scientific studies on the diagnostic and therapeutic approach for diabetic patients and those with chronic coronary syndrome, with an emphasis on the impact of comorbidities on patients' quality of life. Her constant concern for evaluating the performance of medical departments and optimizing healthcare services reflects her innovative thinking and professional responsibility. Public recognition of her merits and dedication materialized in 2024 with the awarding of the title of Honorary Citizen of Chisinau municipality, a distinction that highlights Doctor Tatiana Harghel's remarkable contribution to the development of the capital's healthcare system and to quality medical education.
