About

Olga Leibrandt was born in Chisinau, Moldova, and completed eight years of professional training at the Bolshoi State Ballet Academy in Moscow, followed by training at the Choreography High School in Chisinau. After settling in Germany in 2002, she furthered her education with a degree in ballet pedagogy at Ballettseminare Stuttgart, obtaining her ballet teacher certification in 2009. Since then, she has dedicated herself to teaching classical ballet using the Russian Vaganova method, specializing in a career of over 16 years in the field. In 2009, Olga launched the Kinderballett Frankfurt program, offering ballet classes for children and teenagers within this framework. Her major achievement came in 2019 when she opened Ballettstudio Ost, located directly at Osthafenplatz in Frankfurt am Main. The studio focuses on classical ballet using the Vaganova method and offers classes for all age groups, including the youngest participants who start at three and a half years old. Alongside her, two other ballet teachers work at the studio, helping to expand the educational offerings. Her pedagogical philosophy is based on creating a warm and supportive atmosphere where each student feels comfortable and confident in their own abilities. Olga focuses on technical development, coordination, and concentration, as well as the emotional aspects of dance, encouraging students to express themselves freely and experiment without fear of judgment. Her success is reflected in the positive feedback from parents and the visible progress of her students, who demonstrate passion and dedication to ballet.
