Oxana Koppers is a qualified pianist, choir repetiteur, chamber ensemble soloist, concertmaster, and music teacher specializing in piano. Oxana was born in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. From an early age, her educator recognized her great inclination for music, which was encouraged at the age of six with intensive piano lessons. Oxana graduated from the State University of Arts (Conservatory) with a degree in piano. After completing her studies, she was employed at the opera as a ballet and choir repetiteur and as a music teacher at the University. Oxana is an experienced music educator who runs her music school with great passion. Oxana enjoys piano lessons with her students the most: The diversity, spontaneity, and impartial openness of children represent an inexhaustible fertile ground for Oxana's enthusiasm. For Oxana, piano lessons mean, above all, an individual response to the personalities of her students. The focus is on motivation, the joy of playing the piano, and the further development of musical skills, including through participation in concerts and competitions. Oxana places particular importance on a solid foundational musical education. Using her own methods, which she has developed over the years, she follows an individual path and continuously educates herself through regular participation in workshops and training courses. Oxana was named Piano Teacher of the Year 2020 by the Bechstein Centre Düsseldorf for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for her exceptional commitment and tireless work with talented students in piano lessons and preparation for regional competitions.
