Ecaterina Komarnitsky, a board-certified family physician specializing in integrative medicine, was born in the Republic of Moldova and raised in New York in a family that valued both herbal remedies and conventional medicine. This cultural heritage shaped her passion for a holistic approach to health. She studied Biomolecular Science at New York University and earned her medical degree from American University of Antigua College of Medicine, completing her family medicine residency at Mohawk Valley Health System in Utica, New York, where she was named chief resident. She subsequently completed a fellowship in integrative medicine at the Institute for Family Health – Mount Sinai program. His interest in metabolic health began in 2008, within the Endocrinology Department at Mount Sinai, where he used continuous glucose monitors to study metabolic patterns, sparking a deep passion for the influence of lifestyle, nutrition, and environment on health. Today, he practices in New York at The Morrison Center, Thea Spyer Center, and other clinics, focusing on longevity, metabolic health, gut health, and women's wellness. He combines conventional medicine with nutrition, botanicals, and mind-body therapies, helping patients identify the root causes of their conditions and achieve long-term vitality.
