Tatiana Cocsanova was born on January 16, 2004, in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, and at the age of six, she began practicing rhythmic gymnastics. In 2018, she joined the Canadian national team, representing Canada on the international stage. Cocsanova distinguished herself through consistent results, becoming a four-time Canadian national all-around champion between 2021 and 2024, with a total of 16 national titles in various apparatus. Coached by Natalia Popova at the Questo RG club in Montreal, she participated in numerous prestigious international competitions, including the World Championships and World Cups in rhythmic gymnastics. The year 2022 marked a turning point in her career when she won the all-around title at the Canadian Championships and secured gold in the team event at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham alongside teammates Carmel Kallemaa and Suzanna Shahbazian. Subsequently, Tatiana accumulated bronze medals at the Pan American Championships in 2023 and 2024, demonstrating consistent excellence at the continental level. Her participation in the World Championships in Sofia (2022) and Valencia (2023) solidified her status as a high-performance gymnast on the world stage. In her personal life, Tatiana studies science at Vanier College in Montreal, and in her free time, she creates videos for her YouTube channel. She speaks English and French, which facilitates her communication in the multilingual Canadian context. Her main idols are Russian rhythmic gymnasts Alina Kabaeva, Margarita Mamun, and Aleksandra Soldatova, as well as Israeli gymnast Linoy Ashram, who have influenced her attitude towards sport and performance.
