Tatiana Chișca, born on July 19, 1995, in Bălți, is one of the most remarkable swimmers of the Republic of Moldova, specializing in the breaststroke. She has participated twice in the Olympic Games, finishing 40th in the 100-meter breaststroke in 2012 in London and 36th in 2016 in Rio, proudly representing her country's colors on the grand international stages. Her achievements include participations in multiple European and World Swimming Championships, where she obtained notable rankings, such as 12th place in the 50-meter breaststroke at the European Championships in Glasgow in 2018, repeatedly setting national records in the 50 and 100-meter breaststroke events. In Romania, Tatiana has had resounding successes, becoming a double national champion in the 50 and 100-meter breaststroke, after previously triumphing at the same event in Ukraine. She also won gold at the Romanian International Swimming Championships and competed under the Republic of Moldova club in events such as the 2019 Romanian International Swimming Championships, where she recorded impressive times in the 50-meter breaststroke (31.91 s), 100-meter breaststroke (1:09.44), and 50-meter freestyle.
