Irina Cașcaval, originally from the city of Bălți in the Republic of Moldova, distinguished herself from adolescence through exceptional educational achievements, obtaining the highest average grade on the baccalaureate exam in the autumn session of 2012, with a score of 9.68. A national olympiad winner in Romanian language and literature and Russian language, passionate about great Russian writers such as Dostoevsky and Pushkin, she studied at the "Vasile Alecsandri" Theoretical High School in Iași, Romania, where she was drawn to literature thanks to her teacher Nicu Crăciun. Although she missed the summer session due to a technical malfunction of the bus, her determination turned the obstacle into a victory, demonstrating an iron will and a positive attitude towards life. After graduation, Irina pursued higher education at the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University in Iași, first obtaining a bachelor's degree in Tourism and Travel Services (2012-2015), followed by a master's degree in Human Resources Management (2015-2017). Her career subsequently oriented towards the field of information technology, where she accumulated over 9 years of experience, starting with customer support and senior IT analyst positions at Capgemini in Iași. She collaborated with major companies in the automotive industry such as OSRAM Continental and Plastic Omnium, where she currently holds the role of Information Technology Operations Engineer, specializing in infrastructure administration, Microsoft Intune, and support for engineering tools like IBM Doors and Helix Perforce. With solid expertise in service desk, level two support, and infrastructure administration, Irina is a self-taught individual, dedicated to continuous learning and collaboration in multinational teams. She speaks fluent English at a professional level and native Russian, and her involvement in the Organization of Bessarabian Students in Timișoara reflects her Moldovan roots and commitment to the community. Although she initially dreamed of a career in diplomacy to improve relations between Romania and Russia, her path in IT positions her as a model of adaptability and professional success in Romania, remaining anchored in the values of education and perseverance.
