About

Alissa Zoubritski, a remarkable Franco-Moldovan pianist, was born in the Republic of Moldova and began studying piano at a young age, profoundly influenced by her musician parents – her mother a pianist and her father a violinist. She won her first prizes at the Regional Conservatory of Paris at just 16 years old, in Pierre Réach's class, then at the National Superior Conservatories of Music and Dance in Lyon and Paris (CNSM), under the guidance of Géry Moutier, Claire Désert, and Rena Shereshevskaya. She completed her training with a master's degree in vocal accompaniment at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, benefiting from the advice of masters such as Anne Quéffélec, Aldo Ciccolini, and Jeff Cohen, becoming a laureate of international competitions such as those in Vulaines-sur-Seine and Nuremberg. As a soloist and chamber musician, Alissa collaborates with renowned artists, including violinist Efim Zoubritski, sopranos Sophie Boyer, Diana Axentii, and Andreea Soare, as well as baritone Michal Partyka. She was appointed pianist at the Lyric Workshop of the Paris Opera in 2011, working with conductors, directors, and soloists on opera productions at the Opera Houses of Lille, Nancy, Lyon, and the Auditorium du Louvre. She has performed at prestigious festivals such as La Roque d'Anthéron, Aix-en-Provence, Folles Journées de Nantes, Colmar, Radio-France Montpellier, and abroad in China, Poland, Germany, Moldova, Greece, and the USA, and has been broadcast on France Musique, BBC London, and RTS Suisse. Her album "Transcriptions lyriques" (Paraty, 2020) brings together transcriptions of romantic lieder by Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Schubert, Schumann, plus contemporary creations, and has been praised by the press. Passionate about pedagogy, Alissa teaches piano at the Regional Conservatory in Rueil-Malmaison, in advanced and bachelor's cycles, and develops voice-piano duo projects at the École Normale Alfred Cortot, where she was an assistant to Rena Shereshevskaya for two years. Trained in the French and Slavic school tradition, she promotes lyrical and folk music from Eastern Europe, supporting young performers through internships and workshops, and continues to record and perform, maintaining close ties with the Moldovan scene through recitals in Chisinau.
