Angela Vescu is a singer and songwriter from the Republic of Moldova, with a career developed in Romania. Born in Chisinau, she received a solid musical education, completing seven years of musical studies at a high school in the Moldovan capital, where she developed her vocal skills and learned to play the piano. The young artist moved to Bucharest to continue her studies, enrolling in the Faculty of Arts, majoring in Acting, which allowed her to combine her passion for theater with her passion for music. According to her own accounts, she showed vocal talent from the age of five, and at fifteen she successfully participated in a televised competition in Romania, where she passed five stages, being well received by the Romanian public. Angela Vescu's musical career developed through participation in competitions and professional performances. She was a contestant on the fourth season of the show "Vocea României" (The Voice of Romania), where she performed Lucio Dalla's song "Caruso" during the blind auditions and was selected to continue in the competition. Under the artistic pseudonym ZUKA, Angela collaborated with other musicians, composing and releasing singles such as "Hello Stranger" and "Sâmbete," demonstrating versatility as both a performer and a songwriter. Her repertoire includes songs from various musical genres – from blues and jazz to Romanian and Russian folk music – acquiring remarkable adaptability to different styles. For Angela, theater and music represent complementary artistic expressions that allow her to convey authentic emotions to the audience.
