The Ungureanu family, from the village of Căpriana, Strășeni district, represents a rare social and human phenomenon, being known as the largest family in the Republic of Moldova. With a total of 19 children — 12 boys and 7 girls — Mihai and Maria Ungureanu have built a domestic universe based on impressive logistics and discipline sweetened by love. While the father is the pillar of financial stability, the mother, Maria, manages a complex "institution" where responsibilities are clearly divided. Family meals become a symbolic ritual, where industrial quantities of food are cooked with love, and dialogue and mutual support replace digital screens. Despite facing inherent economic challenges in a country with limited resources, the Ungureanu family refuses to complain, choosing instead to focus on their children's education and health.
