About

Natalia Țurcanu is the former Executive Director of the National Association for Inbound Tourism from the Republic of Moldova (ANTRIM), the most representative association in the country's incoming tourism industry, bringing together approximately 45 members, including tour operators, hotels, wineries, rural guesthouses and holiday homes, DMCs & PCOs, and other tourism-related businesses. Through her work, she contributes to the promotion and development of the "Moldova" tourist destination both domestically and internationally, being involved in various public-private projects and partnerships, including the Moldova Tourist Information Center project in Chisinau. On a social and professional level, Natalia Țurcanu collaborates closely with public institutions, local authorities, and international partners to adapt the Moldovan tourism industry to new realities, including post-pandemic and in the context of a constantly changing tourism market. She is a member of the Economic Council of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova and a collaborator on international projects such as the Moldova Competitiveness Project, funded by USAID, within which she promotes quality tourism services and the development of skills in the field. Natalia Țurcanu holds a degree in tourism and marketing, and in parallel, she is taking advanced courses in management and leadership, holding several professional certificates in this field. She is recognized as a consultant and advisor in the planning and management of tourism projects, an activity reflected in the various public debates, conferences, and educational events she participates in, where she shares her experience with students, faculty, and representatives of the private sector.
