Throughout her life, she claims that she does not consider willpower, resilience, or anything similar to be the most important thing in a person, but rather the desire to learn. The future star Galina Timoshenko was born in 1962 in Chisinau and spent her early childhood there. Her parents studied at the Moscow Technological Institute and, after finishing their studies, dedicated themselves to work in the field. Her grandparents were railway workers. She excelled in her studies, preferring mathematics, and received a gold medal upon graduation. The graduate went to Moscow, where she enrolled in the psychology department of Lomonosov Moscow State University. Timoshenko also completed an internship at the Russian State Medical University, specializing in clinical psychology, and later became a Doctor of Medical Sciences. After graduating from Moscow State University, Galina moved to Klimovsk, where she worked in her field for two years at a machine-building plant. Later, she and her husband traveled to Libya, where she conducted psychological tests for Russian employees. Tymoshenko also worked with local residents, giving them the opportunity to select and arrange various colors of their choice, then sharing stories from their lives. Upon returning to her homeland, Galina Valentinovna found employment at the "Prognoz" center in Obninsk, where she assisted individuals dealing with the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster. She also worked as a teacher, holding classes at Kaluga Pedagogical University. Three years later, the future TV presenter found a job at Moscow City Hospital No. 223, and in 2004, she began helping her clients at her own psychological assistance center, which is now called "Algorithms of Happiness." Television appearances were not part of the qualified psychologist's plans, and the offer to participate in a casting for a television project surprised her, but Galina Valentinovna agreed. And after learning the news of her casting for the show "I Understand. I Forgive," she did not back down. This influenced her role as an experienced psychologist within the television project, helping people navigate difficult moments in their lives. The TV host's serious and sometimes stern communication style is not to everyone's liking, and some viewers prefer Boris Egorov's commentary. However, Tymoshenko herself claims that these methods only stimulate a person's inner reserves and increase their independence in problem-solving. It is no secret that the program's episodes are filmed according to a preconceived script. Galina Valentinovna herself does not participate in writing it, but she claims that she reacts to the characters' lines on camera exactly as she would in real life. She considers herself only a part-time actress, believing that acting requires specialized training. The show, which began in the 2000s, has become a significant part of Tymoshenko's life over the years. Viewers have learned to solve problems with her advice and have followed with interest the changes in the presenter's appearance. Over the years, Galina Valentinovna has lost weight and changed her hair color, going from brown to blonde. But she constantly impresses fans with her ability to choose new outfits and accessories for each episode. In 2024, Tymoshenko continued her television career, regularly airing new episodes of the program "Understand. Forgive," with the number of episodes far exceeding the 2,000 mark. However, the show, broadcast on the Domašniy channel, has remained as relevant and beloved by the public as ever.
